Ride the lights

Ride the Lights in Blackpool is an annual event where cyclists get a sneak preview of the Blackpool Illuminations before the official switch-on. In 2025, the event will take place on Tuesday, August 26th, from 7pm to 10pm. The six-mile Promenade will be closed to traffic, allowing cyclists to enjoy the lights from Starr Gate to Red Bank Road in Bispham.
